Mesotherapy with Lipodissolve involves injecting a drug called Lipostabil into problem areas to dissolve fat and take off inches. It’s not a replacement for liposuction because it only minimizes small amount of fat.

Lipostabil (generic: phosphatidylcholine) is a very safe drug because it is a naturally occurring substance in the body first used in the 50’s to reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It was even injected into arteries to dissolve atherosclerotic plaques. The drug is excreted through the urinary tract.

Treatment usually requires 8 sessions spaced at 2-weeks interval. Itchiness, occasional bruising, slight swelling and temporary lumps or bulges at injection site, lasting for four days, are to be expected.
